About me
Gilles Plouffe
Gilles Plouffe is an actor and trainer passionate about the authenticity of acting. Founder of the Gilles Plouffe Actors Studio in Montreal, he draws on a 35-year artistic career and over 25 years of teaching experience to support actors on their journey.
Trained under master John Strasberg, he conveys a realistic and organic approach to acting, informed by his own experience in theater, film, and television, in both French and English.
His mission: to create a vibrant, challenging, and caring learning space, where each actor can fully reveal themselves and profoundly transform their practice.

OUR TEAMS
At the Gilles Plouffe Actors Studio, we believe that every artist deserves support that is both compassionate and demanding. Our team is made up of people passionate about acting in theater, film, television and teaching acting, united by a shared mission: to help each actor reveal their true self and their creative power.
Want to experience acting from the inside?
Are you curious, passionate, a beginner, or already an experienced actor? Here, we don't just teach you how to say a line—we introduce you to the art of realistic acting, as taught in the major studios of New York.
What are we doing here? We're pushing you to tap into your imagination, to connect with your experiences to embody real, touching, and powerful characters. Because acting isn't just about "saying the lines correctly"—it's about making the invisible visible, creating an experience that strikes the heartstrings of your audience.
Do you want to understand how to transform yourself, inhabit a character, and create a believable world with your energy and emotions? This is exactly what you're going to learn.
Acting is a true inner adventure—and I'll be there to support you every step of the way, whether you want to shine on stage, on screen, or simply learn more about yourself and your own self expression through acting.
So, are you ready to give it a try? Join the studio, discover your unique voice, and experience a training that could change your life.
